Coco and Sam were married on one of the most beautiful Summer days. It might have been slightly warm and humid, but at least we made it through without any rain— and I’ll take that! They had originally planned to get married the first week of June, but like many couples, had to reschedule to late July thanks to the Covid pandemic and state regulations. Thankfully, orders lifted little by little and along with precautions, we were all able to gather and celebrate their amazing day!

With the waterfall flowing, these two became husband and wife at one of my favorite venues here in our area, The Waterstone! When we arrived at the venue, we walked around and saw all of the beautiful peachy, boho, decor that Coco, her planner, Hannah Ringley, and her florist, Susan Liles, designed for their day! Terracotta and peach-colored florals were surrounded by so much greenery— including vines, cacti, and houseplants! We stopped by the treehouse to say hi to Sam and then made our way to the hobbit house where Coco and her bridesmaids were getting ready. I love this part of the day because you can always feel the excitement in the room! Once Sam and Coco were both ready, we captured a sweet father first look (which I’m always a fan of) and an even sweeter first look with Sam. We all stood back and observed quietly as they exchanged private vows and wiped some tears. After some quick portraits, we all headed to the ceremony site where Coco’s handmade wooden triangle alter greeted us. At the end of the ceremony, a cloud came directly overhead and dropped a small handful of raindrops— just enough to shield the sun for a moment and slightly cool us down! Thankfully, it didn’t stick around for the first kiss!

Summer evenings are always the most perfect temperature here in Tennessee, and Sam and Coco’s night was no different! There were tables outside of the tent and plenty of lawn seating to help accommodate for social distancing (but also to enjoy the evening under the stars)! Their reception was an absolute blast and we all danced the night away to celebrate the newlyweds!

Coco and Sammy heart is so full and happy for you two! Your day was absolutely beautiful and it was an honor to be there to capture it. Wishing you both the best on your next adventure in Colorado!

Special thanks to my second shooter, Danielle, for all of the help and for being amazing, always!

Big thanks to all of Coco and Sam’s wedding vendor team who helped make their day amazing!
