The Waterstone Venue: Coco + Sam's Peachy Boho Summer Wedding
Coco and Sam were married on one of the most beautiful Summer days at one of my favorite venues in East Tennessee, The Waterstone! It might have been slightly warm and humid, but at least we made it through without any rain— and I’ll take that! They had originally planned to get married the first week of June, but like many couples, had to reschedule to late July thanks to the Covid pandemic and state regulations. Thankfully, orders lifted little by little and along with precautions, we were all able to gather and celebrate their amazing day!
Caryville, TN: Kaity + Kyle's Cozy Rustic Backyard Wedding in Middle Tennessee
Kaity and Kyle are married! These two said, "I do," at an intimate outdoor ceremony at Kyle's family church, nestled in the mountains of Robbins, Tennessee. After the ceremony, Kaity and Kyle's guests built a fire in a fire pit, ate some delicious BBQ, and roasted s'mores as the sun went down! It was a perfect Fall evening in Middle Tennessee!
Cleveland, TN: Nate + Celeste's Pink Rustic Wedding at the Apple Barn at Howe Farms
Nate and Celeste are married! These two said their vows at the gorgeous Apple Barn at Howe Farms in Cleveland, Tennessee! It may have been the only wedding this year that I haven’t had to worry about rain, for the sun was shining 100%! These two have been together since high school and has waited for this day for years.
Limestone, TN: Renita + Nate's Rustic Country Wedding at the Millstone
A running theme of wedding season this year has been the constant threat of rain, and it was no different for these two. You can probably see the ominous clouds in the photos, but we lucked out and had a sunny and breezy evening for their wedding day. Renita and Nate didn't want a huge wedding, so they opted for an intimate celebration with their closest family members at the Millstone. Renita and Nate walked down the aisle together and met the officiant, Renita's dad, Reub! I thought it was so special that the father of the bride was also the officiant! After vows were read and rings were exchanged, Renita and Nate kissed for the first time as husband and wife and headed to the reception for delicious barbecue, pies, and cupcakes!
Limestone, TN: Kayla + Aaron's Rustic Pastel Spring Wedding at the Millstone
Kayla and Aaron were married on a beautiful Spring day in April at the Millstone! The week prior had been pretty chilly, for Winter kept lingering and bringing us colder temperatures. Luckily, the sun came out and warmed us all on their wedding day! After lunch, Kayla put on her gorgeous, ivory and lace, Maggie Sottero gown and was ready for the first look. We then headed out to the lawn to meet Aaron, where she would see her husband-to-be for the first time. The two said, "I do," and kissed as husband and wife under the branch arbor! We then headed to the reception for delicious barbecue and cake to celebrate the newlyweds!
Warm Springs, VA: Josh + Lyndsey's Chilly November Wedding at the Old Dairy
Josh and Lyndsey were married on one of the coldest fall days at the beautiful Old Dairy in Warm Springs, Virginia. They're both nature lovers, and Lyndsey has a deep love for agriculture and the Shenandoah Valley, so it made for the perfect backdrop for their wedding! It may have been a high of 30º, but these two cozied right up for their portraits together. Lyndsey also incorporated her passion for dogs and had her two closest pups as her flower girl and ring bearer! Once the rings were exchanged and vows sealed with the first kiss, we all headed to the reception for dinner, drinks, and casual conversation in the barn!
Butler, TN: Zach + Daisy's Rustic and Rainy Wedding at Sugar Hollow Retreat
Daisy and Zach were married at the lodge at Sugar Hollow Retreat in Butler, Tennessee. The original plan had been to have the ceremony on the lawn and reception under the tent, but Mother Nature had other plans! We all kept glancing at the weather radars, silently hoping there would be a break in the rain. The forecast didn't give any sign of it giving up, so Daisy made the decision to go for Plan B and moved the ceremony under the tent. Shortly after, the two said, "I do," to the sound of raindrops pattering on the tent and underneath the twinkling string lights. Talk about a romantic way to become husband and wife!
