Aimee and Gus’ wedding day will always have a special place in my heart and was such a beautiful end of Summer!

These two adventurous souls became husband and wife in the heart of Pisgah Forest at the gorgeous Pilot Cove Cabins and Amphitheater. Aimee and Gus are both avid outdoor lovers and athletes. Aimee is an amazing ultra runner and Gus loves to mountain bike– so it was only fitting to exchange vows in the mountains they love surrounded by their closest friends and family. After exchanging vows and rings, and sharing their first kiss, Aimee and Gus celebrated in true Aimee and Gus fashion with a laid-back outdoor reception with plenty of wildflowers and PIZZA.

If you didn’t already know, Aimee and I attended the same college together and were both in the photography program, so it was extra special for her to entrust me with such a significant day in their lives. It has been amazing to catch up with her and to witness her and Gus’ true joy and happiness in one another.
